Piper is an Android app developed by Icontrol Networks Canada ULC.

Piper first became available on 14 Feb 2014. It is estimated that Piper has been downloaded between 50000 and 100000 times from the Play Store.

Piper 2.8.3 requires the following permissions:

Allows an app to access precise location. Alternatively, you might want ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.
